RFC supports tubular and BHA inspection programmes based on the agreed component list, inspection category and client requirements.
BHA coverage
- Heavy Weight Drill Pipe, Drill Collars, Stabilizers, Crossovers, Bit Subs, Motors, Jars and Fishing Tools.
Examination
- Body condition, dimensions, connections, threads and shoulders.
- EMI, UT, MPI or PT where applicable to the component and inspection programme.
Inspection basis
- API RP 7G-2 / ISO 10407-2, DS-1, NS-2 or other agreed client requirements may be applied where contractually specified.

- Individual component records
- Identification and acceptance status
- Segregation of items requiring repair or rejection.
